Providing the news from a different front but from a war that we must win as well! I recognize the poverty and desperate conditions that many Latinos live in. We, as the USA, have a responsibility to do as much as we can to reach out to aid and assist spiritually with the Gospel and naturally with training, technology and resources. But poverty gives no one the right to break the laws of another sovereign nation.

Mexico border fence equals Berlin Wall?

Snow won't comment on Calderon's comparison

Is the Mexico border fence authorized in congressional legislation passed last year akin to the Berlin Wall built by communist East Germany?

White House spokesman Tony Snow wouldn't say yesterday whether he agreed with that comparison by Mexican President Felipe Calderon.

Evoking President Reagan's reaction on a similar comparison made by then-Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev at a 1987 summit, WND White House correspondent Les Kinsolving asked Snow if he thought Reagan, rather than Calderon, was right.
