A 30-year-old woman was slain Wednesday night in her home on Enrique Ledesma street in Juárez, police said.

The body of Mirtha Ivone Estrada Olivas was found by her husband lying faceup on the floor of an upstairs room. She appeared to have been stabbed in the abdomen.

Municipal police said her pants were down to her knees, but state investigators said she was dressed.

The woman's car was parked outside with its lights on. The case is being investigated by a task force on women's murders.
