Providing the news from a different front but from a war that we must win as well! I recognize the poverty and desperate conditions that many Latinos live in. We, as the USA, have a responsibility to do as much as we can to reach out to aid and assist spiritually with the Gospel and naturally with training, technology and resources. But poverty gives no one the right to break the laws of another sovereign nation.

Border Patrol Agents Nab Two Men Wanted by Police

Las Cruces, N.M. – Border Patrol agents assigned to the El Paso Sector arrested two wanted criminals, in separate incidents, over the weekend while conducting routine patrol operations.

On Friday, Border Patrol agents at the I-10 Traffic Checkpoint, west of Las Cruces, arrested a United States Citizen being sought on charges in Deming, N.M. related to “Cruelty to a Child”.

Agents apprehended the wanted man, a 29-year old male from Las Vegas, Nev. after they encountered him in a green Nissan truck. The agents recognized the subject and vehicle from an information bulletin that was provided by other law enforcement agencies. The subject was turned over to New Mexico State Police.

On Saturday, agents from the Ysleta, Tex. Border Patrol Station arrested a citizen from Mexico entering the United States illegally who was wanted for “Aggravated Battery Resulting in Grievous Bodily Harm/Death of or with a Deadly Weapon”. The 32-year old Mexican national was taken into custody and entered into the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS) where he prompted an alert as an individual wanted by Police. He was subsequently turned over to the El Paso Police Department for extradition back to New Mexico.
