Providing the news from a different front but from a war that we must win as well! I recognize the poverty and desperate conditions that many Latinos live in. We, as the USA, have a responsibility to do as much as we can to reach out to aid and assist spiritually with the Gospel and naturally with training, technology and resources. But poverty gives no one the right to break the laws of another sovereign nation.

10 men caught with 487 pounds of pot

Border Patrol agents in Lordsburg, N.M., arrested 10 men from Mexico carrying backpacks filled with marijuana in two incidents Thursday in the Southern New Mexico desert, officials said.

In one incident, agents spent several hours tracking footprints that led them to six men carrying a total of 237 pounds of marijuana near U.S. Highway 80 near the U.S.-Mexico border. A few miles away, agents found four other men trying to hide in the brush with a total of 250 pounds of marijuana.
