We, as the USA, have a responsibility to do as much as we can to reach out to aid and assist spiritually with the Gospel and naturally with training, technology and resources. But poverty gives no one the right to break the laws of another sovereign nation.

CBP Seizes 403 Pounds of Undeclared Cheese, Two Vehicles at Colombia-Solidarity Bridge

Laredo, Texas – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized two loads of commercial quantities of undeclared cheese entering the U.S. near Laredo, Texas resulting in fines and the seizure of two vehicles.

The most recent seizure occurred Monday evening at the passenger vehicle lanes of Colombia-Solidarity Bridge. CBP officers referred a 34-year-old female driver of a 1990 Oldsmobile Silhouette van for a secondary examination. During the examination, CBP officers noted discrepancies in the quarter panel area. Upon further examination, officers discovered packages of cheese concealed in the quarter panels. A total of 97 pounds of cheese was discovered and seized.
