President Bush was treated to a ride on a sand rail by a U.S. Border Patrol agent today during a visit to Yuma. The president rode with a member of the Border Search Trauma and Rescue Team, a group of agents who are trained to find and rescue illegal aliens stranded in the desert.

Prior to the ride, Bush listened to a presentation on Border Patrol, border security and immigration issues as he stood next to the wall dividing San Luis, Ariz., and San Luis Rio Colorado, Son.

Bush arrived in Yuma this morning to see and learn about local immigration issues for himself.
