Yuma sector Border Patrol agents rounded up 50 illegal immigrants in two drop house busts Wednesday morning, bringing the total number of drop house busts in Yuma to seven since Monday and a dozen this month.

Agents have caught 124 illegal immigrants hiding out in drop houses, places where organized smuggling rings stash immigrants who have recently crossed the border before moving them farther into the United States, since Monday.

Border Patrol spokesman Rick Hays said both houses discovered Wednesday were "filthy."
