Lake Havasu City OKs police enforcement of immigration laws
LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. -- Police in Lake Havasu City received the support of the City Council to move forward with a plan to train officers to enforce federal immigration laws.
The Council voted unanimously to approve an agreement with Immigration and Customs Enforcement for a training program for officers. Once trained, the officers would be authorized to interrogate anyone believed to be an illegal immigrant, arrest them without a warrant and transport them to an ICE facility.Labels: Illegal Invasion
