Providing the news from a different front but from a war that we must win as well! I recognize the poverty and desperate conditions that many Latinos live in. We, as the USA, have a responsibility to do as much as we can to reach out to aid and assist spiritually with the Gospel and naturally with training, technology and resources. But poverty gives no one the right to break the laws of another sovereign nation.

Police-weapon probe continues

TIJUANA – City police officers have their guns back, but Mexican federal authorities said yesterday that an investigation into the firearms used by the municipal force isn't over.

In a statement released Monday night, the Mexico City-based Federal Attorney General's Office said it had inspected 2,059 firearms but was continuing to examine ballistic evidence collected during the confiscations β€œto determine if the weapons were used in a criminal act.”
