Providing the news from a different front but from a war that we must win as well! I recognize the poverty and desperate conditions that many Latinos live in. We, as the USA, have a responsibility to do as much as we can to reach out to aid and assist spiritually with the Gospel and naturally with training, technology and resources. But poverty gives no one the right to break the laws of another sovereign nation.

Border Patrol finds fifth stash house in two weeks

Yuma sector U.S. Border Patrol agents apprehended 13 illegal aliens Friday from the fifth drop house agents have discovered in two weeks.

At 11:45 a.m., agents working off a tip went to the 1200 block of 3rd Street and found one suspected smuggler and 12 illegal aliens inside two small travel trailers in a trailer park. The people had been hiding for one week while waiting to be smuggled farther into the U.S., according to a Border Patrol release.

None of the illegal aliens required medical attention. Three vehicles parked by the trailers were seized.

Agents are continuing to investigate the case. Since October 1, 2005, Yuma sector agents have apprehended 94,559 illegal aliens, according to the release.
