Providing the news from a different front but from a war that we must win as well! I recognize the poverty and desperate conditions that many Latinos live in. We, as the USA, have a responsibility to do as much as we can to reach out to aid and assist spiritually with the Gospel and naturally with training, technology and resources. But poverty gives no one the right to break the laws of another sovereign nation.

Mexico farmers lose without tariffs, EP activists say

Activists protesting at the Bridge of the Americas on Wednesday decried an unfair competitive edge U.S. farmers will have over their Mexican counterparts now that all tariffs have been removed from the Mexican importation of farmed goods.

Mexico abolished its last protective tariffs on basic crops, including corn, beans and sugar, on Tuesday, under the terms of the North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA. Mexican farmers have complained they won't be able to compete with U.S. farmers who can sell cheaper products because they receive government subsidies.
