The body of an unidentified young woman was found completely burned in a vacant lot early Wednesday in Juárez, authorities said.

After receiving an emergency call about a burning body, firefighters arrived about 1:30 a.m. in the lot near Francisco Villa and Sergio Dominguez streets and found the body still burning.

Chihuahua state officials described the woman as thin with dark brown hair and between 15 and 20 years old. She was wearing pink pants. An investigation was under way by forensic investigators and the task force on the homicides of women.
