FARMERS BRANCH, Texas (AP) -- Voters deciding Saturday whether to repeal or approve an ordinance prohibiting landlords from renting apartments to most illegal immigrants have seen the issue divide neighbors in their Dallas suburb.

Yes, apparently Farmers Branch in the 1970s was an all white / non latin town. And now it is ... gasp! 40% latin.
Which is, let's face it, what this is about. If these people were freaked out about crime, they would do something about ALL crime, instead of just trying to kick out those who don't look like them.
How's the county's white meth user status? Oops, I'm sorry, their families immigrated decades ago, they must be ok.
I am not sure if you live in FB, but I do and if you checked the police reports you would find that most of the crime in FB stems from illegals from Mexico and Latin America. What does the meth use have to do with illegal immigrants in FB? stick with the subject at hand..until you have lived it and experienced the interaction with their disrespectful kids who refuse to atttend school or learn anything in school and gang bang (I am a high school teacher)you cannot intelligently comment on the basis of the FB proposition holding landlords to the letter of the law.. we are supposed to uphold the laws of this nation not excuse the behavior of criminals...
