We, as the USA, have a responsibility to do as much as we can to reach out to aid and assist spiritually with the Gospel and naturally with training, technology and resources. But poverty gives no one the right to break the laws of another sovereign nation.

CBP Border Patrol Agents Arrest Drug Smuggler

Nearly 170 Pounds of Marijuana Discovered in Trunk

Blythe, Calif. — Early Wednesday morning, U.S. Customs and Border Protection Border Patrol agents from Yuma Sector’s Blythe Station arrested an illegal alien and seized nearly 170 pounds of marijuana hidden in a vehicle.

While patrolling near Ehrenberg, Ariz. agents spotted a 2001 Chevrolet that was reported to be involved in suspicious activity. Agents stopped the vehicle and determined the driver to be an illegal alien. The driver was arrested and an inventory search of the vehicle turned up several bundles of marijuana weighing nearly 170 pounds. The drugs, hidden in the trunk, are valued at over $135,000.
