Providing the news from a different front but from a war that we must win as well! I recognize the poverty and desperate conditions that many Latinos live in. We, as the USA, have a responsibility to do as much as we can to reach out to aid and assist spiritually with the Gospel and naturally with training, technology and resources. But poverty gives no one the right to break the laws of another sovereign nation.

Man Convicted of Killing YVCC Dean in Crash Gets 5 years

YAKIMA, Wa - A judge gives the maximum sentence to the man convicted of vehicular homicide in the death of a dean at Yakima Valley Community College.

Marcos Ramos Medina receives a little more than five years for killing Peggy Keller in a head on collision on US Highway 97 in August, 2005.

Medina is a twice deported illegal immigrant with previous arrests for drugs.
