Providing the news from a different front but from a war that we must win as well! I recognize the poverty and desperate conditions that many Latinos live in. We, as the USA, have a responsibility to do as much as we can to reach out to aid and assist spiritually with the Gospel and naturally with training, technology and resources. But poverty gives no one the right to break the laws of another sovereign nation.

FACTBOX - Mexico's elections: how they work

(Reuters) - Mexico holds presidential and legislative elections on Sunday. Voters pick a president for a six-year term and choose hundreds of members of Congress, the mayor of Mexico City and three state governors.

Polls opened at 8 a.m. (1300 GMT) and close 12 hours later in the far west of the country, which is two hours behind Mexico City.

TV exit polls are expected at 8 p.m. (0100 GMT on Monday) and the Federal Electoral Institute, or IFE, plans to issue partial official results three hours later with a "quick count" it says will accurately reflect the wider result.
